That looks nice and clean. I can tolerate a few imperfections as long as I don't have to force it to work. Where'd you get yours and about how much was it, if you don't mind me asking.

Thanks bud, got it directly from this website:
    http://www.gaugepods.com/toyota.html

It says its for 05-09 tacos but it will work in your truck, mines a 13 and it worked

    Choose the "light grey" option

    About 60 bucks i believe

Looks nice, but then i'd have to get rid of my head unit.. I have been considering putting one where the 4wd switch is after i swap in my FJ case..

It'd be cool to get one of those bezels that came on the dash of the FJ and try to retrofit that to accept some gauges

52mm gauges are what i have

I saw someone put a 52mm gauge in the same place as the 4x4 knob, not sure if I still have the link, but it got me looking for a dual oil pressure/temp gauge. That would be pretty clean.

Right?! Newer engines are a trip. Another reason I want a good ole fashioned diesel.

I had been thinking about replacing that trim with the 2wd trim.

Truck is running good. The CV noise that started in Utah is gone but the groan is still present. I'm thinking it's the needle bearing. It will occasionally make some pretty unpleasant sounds at very low speeds (<2 mph). The oil filter had around 750 miles when I swapped it out for the smaller, correct side for. It had shavings and slivers. Not as many as the previous filter obviously but the slivers I found were larger than before. I wish I had taken a picture but my hands were covered in oil and I was in a rush. Engine sounds fine and is running good otherwise. Still no signs of impending doom.

I'd love to start the diesel swap but I'm not ready physically, mentally, or financially! Gotta keep the 4.0 alive a bit longer.
