    New to the forum, have a 2017 dclb. Looking to buy a shell. Need opinions, any advice, good and bad. Also selling MX4 bakflip for the dclb so I can buy the shell 600 obo Purchased March 2018

I’d start with checking a CL forum local to your area (I check the Northeast Craigslist thread, https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/north-east-craigslist-finds.182657/page-978#post-20190553) and the “cap-topper trade thread”, https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/cap-topper-trade-tread.490302/page-19#post-20188761
    Often it comes down to what fits/kinda matches/looks cool. I like my Leer but only bought it because it fit and was affordable within a reasonable distance. Good luck!

    Snug top Rebel, Thule tracks, ditch tracks, Bagged rear suspension, F/R anytime camera, intermittent wiper switch...
    Depends on where you live, snugtop is more western states. Think hard about whether you want, need, or can do without various features like drop down sliding front window or windoors. Some things can be easily added after the fact but those are more expensive to change than include. Roof tracks and roof reinfocement, carpeted liner, etc.
