    There is very little volume there. It really wouldn’t be useful for anything.

    According to my math its .779 gallons per side just the square tube, if you add the round tube you get 1.38 gl per side. You might get 2 gl if all the tubes linked.

    Are there holes in the fill plates? Maybe run a step with pull pins and cutter pins. Pull pins step comes out. Or carry a milk crate behind the seat...lol

    There are holes, I'm waiting to hear if they are always in the same place on the sliders from @Mobtown Offroad

    ARE cap, wade inchannel vent visors, weathertec floor mats, ranch hand grill guard, tuffy security boxes in bed, lockable tailgate handle. Still have stuff that needs to be installed and still have stuff ordered lol.

    any one know If the holes in the fill plates are always the same pattern in the same location?

    They have varied slightly over the years. Generally the same, but also slightly different at times. Also, they are hand fitted, so there is some slight variation from that. Why do you ask?

    So sorry I don't know why I never got back to this. A few of us were thinking that if they were(or were close) one could make a step that attaches to the holes in the fill plates with a few pins
