Good Friday morning all. Yet another rainy day up here. Those May flowers are going to be waist deep with all of the April rain we've had...

Thanks for asking. He's home. Not too good. Each time he comes back from the hospital, he's a bit less incoherent. Mom told me he got up in the middle of the night to do a bed check on the kids. Uhhh, we're not there.

I’m gonna kill myself with this thing.
Single speed ,,,,I haven’t had in 55 years.
It’s kinda a joke thing and get some exercise.
Carol wants to relive her childhood a little and that fine with me.
Once we get use to them again she wants to ride the eastern trail around here.
Some us time...

 

It’s as old school as we could find. Before banana seats.
For the price of these things it was a little splurge for some fun between us.
Lord knows we need some fun ......

Carol and I have been laughing since we got them last night.
I know it’s stupid but we gotta have some fun..

 

It’s all good, I used to work at a bike shop, still have couple left from when I raced, haven’t had em out in a while though.

Headed to the sweetest place on earth this morning for a three day union convention. And of course it's.....POURING..... Give me a break.

 

Morning all
I was riding mountain bikes for a few years, I was in great shape, had plans for where I was going to ride on my 50th birthday.

Then I damaged my knee at 48.

Gained 50lbs

Figured my only option was to start drinking again.

 

Words of wisdom to be sure. I'll drink to that (soon as I get out of here)
