What type of spray waxes/sealants are you guys using for a quick after wash shine to prolong your base wax and sealant? I usually seal the paint twice a year and wax maybe once every month or every other, but what are you guys using for the quick sprays? I've tried a dozen of them and they really all seem to perform the same, but thought i'd ask the gurus here if they have preferences

My truck is ceramic coated only thing I do is use Mother's CMX ceramic coating spray every 6 months as a booster for the Car Pro Ceramic coating already applied

For spray wax just use something cheapish, it generally doesn’t last more than two washes. I’ve been using Lucas Spray Wax. It’s about $7 and it gets me about 8-10 uses, including spraying the wheels.

Duragloss Aquawax is phenomenal. Arguably, the best spray wax I've ever used.

The one I use the most is Wolfgang Uber (substitute ONR, etc) it is one of the slickest which is great for a drying aid and it adds a lot of gloss. Useful in a few different dilutions for other applications like rinseless washing, clay lube, detail spray and waterless wash. Really good on glass too, I never reach for a dedicated glass cleaner anymore.

Also tried Beadmaker, it also gives a nice slickness and color pop but more on the darker color vehicles. Don't see it much on my white paint because the white is very bright when it's clean.

I just tried the new Maguiars Hybrid Ceramic spray wax and really like the results so far. Currently it's $5 bucks off with rebate.

I use Eagle and Meguiars Ultimate Quick Wax. Really depends on which one is on sale at Walmart or the parts store. Both work well on black trim also.

I do not recommend that product at all. It has been found to have alcohol in it, which is not good for wax/sealant. I still have half gallon of that shit to use.

I have been using the new Rain-X wax for the last couple days now and it gets a 10/10 from me. You can feel it leaves a thick wax coating and it’s still there after 3 car washes.

This is my truck which has a 5 yr Ceramic coating application which was applied last year (March 2018) . Just the other day I did my first maintenance application to reseal the coating using Mothers CMX Ceramic coating spray

As you can see the paint has a super deep glossy shine and good for another year and just washing it every few weeks is all that's needed . Also a quick wipe down using a Calif car duster every couple of days if needed

Yes this is the 17yr old OEM Impulse Red Pearl paint

If you're on facebook check out a page called "Detailing 101 by Autogeek". It is a group of proffesional detailers to novice detailers. Lots of good info and assitance. If you do look there you will likely see that the BEST spray waxes/sealants tend to be either McKee's 37 Trademark Extender Spray Wax, Meguiars D156 Synthetic Spray Wax or P&S Bead Maker. Out of the 3 Bead Maker tends to be on top. I was using the Meguiars D156 for years until I tried Bead Maker.

Something else that I do with Bead Maker is once I am done with the outside of the vehicle while the towel is still saturated with Bead Maker I wipe down the dash and center consule. Doesnt give an excessive shine, naturally repels dust and it has UV protectants in it. This is my truck after 6 miles of gravel that is in the middle of thawing, it does an excellent job of repelling junk!
