My 05 Tacoma has a squeaking sound when the clutch is out, goes away when the clutch is pushed in, truck has 77K on it and the clutch itself is fine, I was told not to bother getting the it fixed until I need to replace the clutch. Some say the bearing could shatter if not taken care of, it has been doing this for about a year now, Got a quote for $1,100 to replace entire clutch, The noise is just annoying more than anything, my last Toyota (93 SR5) had 175K original clutch. Any recommendations?

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
That is common for that tranny. It's a lot of work to just replace the bearing. Consider 2-3 hrs to pull the tranny, 5 minutes to swap the bearing and a nother 2-3 hrs putting the tranny back in (by yourself). It's a tough call. I am not exactly sure what I would do in your situation.

I have an 04 with 78K and mine makes noise when the clutch is let out but is quiet with the clutch in. It is an annoyance and is not going to grenade, from what I have read. I have read where after the throw out bearing is replaced they still make the noise after a short time !! the noise is one I put in the non serious category, these trucks make noise and this is one of them.

Search for throw out bearing in the second gen forum. Very common, and usually a pain in the ass to fix. Basically, Toyota has a design flaw and is sweeping the issue under the rug. Crack a beer, read up on the issue, then decide what you want to do.
