Does anyone have a phone number for Toyota's Engineering Department? I believe they are now located in Plano, TX, having relocated from CA a few years ago.

Plano Texas is corporate headquarters, recently re-located there from Erlanger, Ky.
Styling is at Calty in California.
Vehicle engineering occurs at Toyota Technical Center in Saline, Michigan and Japan (Toyota Tech Ctr in Toyota City, Aiichi Prefecture)
Manufacturing Engineering is still at Erlanger

Thanks, I did call the 800 # yesterday and they refused to give me the phone # for engineering. If you have a technical question you are supposed to go see a dealer. If the dealer has no clue you are SOL. I did ask my question with two dealers and they did not have an answer and they claim they have no number they can call when they have no answer for their own questions.

Whats your question? Unfortunately in order to speak with an engineer you have to be a dealer technician and there is a procedure as well most of the time even as a tech you dont talk to them, only on very technical conditions.

Just from time to time I run into things that need a better answer. For example, my current question centers around trying to get Toyota p/n's for pieces for their kits I have purchased. As an example, here is the front sheet for the trailer hitch kit. Note that Toyota does have a bill of materials (BOM), but they just give an alpha description and they do not provide the actual p/n's. I want Engineering to pull the print for the kit and give me the BOM.

It's possibly toyota parts can get you part numbers but the kit you are asking about is one single part number and they dont give individual numbers for each part since youve already bought the set.
Not to be mean but customers do not get phone numbers for anyone useful above the dealership.

People can't get their transmission fluid checked properly ... adjust your expectations accordingly.

Part numbers are kind of a complicated subject. People who work at dealerships, like @Empty_Lord will back me on this one. I can give you some info on your question, but a little background is needed first.

When Toyota builds a new vehicle, it is sold before it leaves the building at the manufacturing plant. Another branch of Toyota, lets just call them marketing, takes ownership. Any parts installed after that are called by various names like "dealer options", "TRD parts", "post production accessories", etc. Those parts were not designed or tested by the Toyota Engineering Grp you were trying to reach. They would not be able to "pull the print" as you said, and get any sub-component parts.

I could be wrong (it's happened before!), but I am pretty sure by seeing the kit part number you show, that is not a part that can be ordered so that it is installed IN THE FACTORY. It might be installed before your vehicle gets to the dealership, or at the dealership, but either way, the engineers would not have the info you want. The company that designed the part, and sells it to Toyota marketing would be the only ones. Those part numbers would not be able to be ordered from Toyota unless they happened to be used on some other component of the truck.

Depending on who sold you this part, I'd ask them how to contact that company to try to get part numbers. As I said, a Toyota vehicle may have the same bolts, nuts, whatever, but it would just be coincidence.

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
A dealer might be able to get the part numbers for the repair parts of the kit. It’s under the asg tab in service lane in TIS. If I get a chance today at work I’ll see if I can get you some part numbers. Might not be there but I can try

    What year is the truck

Interesting information, guys. Thanks. I purchased the kits from a Toyota dealer (I did ask about the component p/n's years later and they did not know). The truck is a 2004.

Engineering isn't the department you're looking for. Combined packages and components would likely be marketing or sales..
