Got my Fox Level 2 kit in from Headstrong. Installed the rears last weekend and the bottom mounts were a PIA!

Hoping to tackle the 2.5 coilovers this weekend and the AAL's next.

A quick look through the box shows the sway bar spaces, two bags of washers and bolts, and a couple spacers. The instructions from Fox are vague at best.

The shorter bolts seem to be for the sway bar space so I assume the longer bolts are for the coilover top hat, though during a quick test fit they didn't seem to fit.

Am I on the right track? Am I missing anything? Any tips from those who have installed before to ensure things go smoothly?

Trying to make sure I have everything sorted out before diving in.

    Thanks and pics once done!

4 bolts that are alike are sway bar relocation. 6 bolts total for top hats of coil-overs, they seem small but they are correct. Drop the lower ball joint bolts (2) after loosening the lower control arm bolts, probably easiest method unless you are doing upper control arms too

Bolts for the top hat install from the top down though the mount or bottom up and use the stock nuts on them?

Was going to disconnect the UCA from the spindle to install. You think the lower ball joint is easier?

Top hat bolts install from top down. You can check fitment of the bolts into the top hat before installation.

You reuse the factory bolt to attach to the lower control arm.

And I have done both methods of installation. I put upper arms in when I first installed so I went in from the top that time. I removed from the bottom when I made adjustments, and I found that faster and easier but only marginally. Overall its a simple job.

One tip would also be to clock the allen bolt for the adjustment ring facing out. That way, should you want to, you can adjust the coil over height when installed in the truck. That was the reason I had to remove mine after installed first.

Thanks. Good call out on the Allen bolt. I'm a little leary of messing with the LCA bolts and effecting the alignment potentially.

You are going to impact your alignment regardless of the LCA.

    Well, good point.

Is the effect any more or less with either method?

I actually have no idea. I am ordering my first suspension upgrade today. All of the research I have done everyone has said you always need an alignment after changing your suspension.
