Hey everyone, long time lurker first time posting.

I'm going to be doing the BLHM to my 2018 TRD Offroad soon. One thing I want to do is change the stock LED DRL lights to amber instead of white. I saw @mesojdm did it with his quad retrofit.

Does anyone know of any DRL boards that can be wired to Amber? I've seen the switchback and RGB ones but I'd like to keep it amber all the time if possible.

    Thanks in advance !

Only way I could find was to get new LED chips for the OEM boards. If I remember right there are 24 LEDs total and they are 1 watt 3030 chips. I haven't done mine yet, but I've read you need a hot air solder set up.

Yeah I've been looking and it seems like that's the only way. I've been looking for the LEDs and found some to order but I'm not quite sure what voltage to get. The reels I found were 3V , 6V and 9V. Not sure if the voltage matters or not..

Let me know how you make out when you do decide to do it. The LEDs are going to take about 20 days to get to me so I'll update this when I get around to doing it .

Will do. New projectors are coming in this week so I'll be tackling it within the next couple weeks.
I don't think voltage matters, the drivers should be fixed current so as long as they are 1 watt it should work.
