Hey everyone. I’ve been doing a lot of reading and figuring out what generally works and what does not. I just wanted some comments on the hardware I will be choosing, if I am overlooking things, or being stooopid.

I am planning on staying with the TRD OR 16” wheels, I diggm.

Then getting some awesome pizza cutters. I mean Cooper ST-MAXX in the 255/85R16.

And then.. The OMETAC16 BP51 kit with just the standard dakar leaf springs.

So from what I am reading.. I should be able to fit that tire on my wheels AND not need to do any cmc. Which is awesome. But how truthful is that??

The tires I am also reading in that size just clear the UCA. I haven’t done much if any UCA research so any advice here would be good. I imagine probably need to replace the stock if I run the OME BP51.

I’ll be using my truck offroad but a lot of highway driving as well. I imagine I can tackle quite a bit of the alpine loop and most of Moab barring you crazy folk going Spider-Man...

    Thanks taco bros.

255/85/16 fit stock so no you won’t need to cut anything

For UCA’s, it’ll depend on what type of ball joint you want and if you want to be able to adjust them. JBA is popular and uses readily available ball joints when replacement is needed. No adjustability though. I think the SPC’s are the adjustable ones but a lot of shops won’t know what to do with them. Then there’s icons and total chaos that use the delta joint I believe it’s called. I’m pretty sure I’m going with JBA for my setup.
