    Dude it was a blast!

We had a ton of fun. Pretty easy mellow trail but still a great time. We ran White Mountain Trail. Can’t remember what trail number it is but it was a good time

@beriman10 once I get your sliders built you’ll have to cruise up with us and run a few trails

Had a little time this last week to work a little bit on the GX. Had only enough time to get the ICON coilovers in. I’ll do UCA’s, rear shocks, and springs hopefully within the next week or 2.

Out with the old and in with the new.

Night and day difference between the stock shocks and ICONs. The stockers were super soft which was great for street driving but almost too squishy. I took it for a spin once I put the coil overs in and it handled so well. Soaked up everything in the rode so much more comfortably but wasn’t too squishy

    Hey Ryan,

When are you going to slap on sliders on your GX?

Jeez I’m sorry it took me over a month to reply to this lol. For whatever reason I haven’t been getting notifications for certain threads sometimes.

Once things slow down a little more for me I would love to build a set of sliders for the GX that will still give the functionality of the step for the kids and wife but clearance and protection that a typically slider gives. That being said I’ll probably add some fill plates to it so the kids little feet don’t go through and give the sliders some extra aesthetics

Not too much going on with the truck these days. Every time I wanna work on it or add something, I get super swamped with my job, family, or working on other people’s trucks lol.

Gonna probably build some bed bars again soon to mount my roof top tent for a camping trip next month and then maybe add a little extra protection on the rear bumper for the tail lights

Doing awesome man. How are things on your side of the world?

Dang I’m never in my build thread anymore.

Went camping with my daughter in the beginning of June which was a ton of fun. Caught her first fish.

Also went Wheeling at Miller Jeep Trail last weekend. Went with a few awesome dudes on here and it was a blast!!

Ryan, what size fenders are you running? I like how you fit your Airflow into your fender. What is the snorkel secured to? I was under the impression that you secure it to the fender itself.

Hey what’s up bro. Thanks. I thought it turned out pretty cool. They’re the McNeil 4” fenders. I basically drilled a couple holes in the inside sheet metal of the engine bay and secured a large hose clamp around the base of the snorkel where it would bolt to the factory fender which allowed it to stay nice and snug inside that area. Then I took the fiberglass fender on and off multiple times and cut a little here a little there until I was happy with the fit of the fender over the snorkel. Since the fiberglass is nice and snug to the snorkel base it helps to secure it even more in that area
