I am so annoyed at the 'strategy' of that army.

 

Theon had to die protecting Bran. It was the only endpoint of his character's development that made sense.

I believe the same is true of Jaime killing Cersei.

And the same is true of the Hound killing the Mountain. And I bet you he does it with fire.

 

I mean throwing away the cavalry ... er dothraki, seige weapons firing once and done... etc. Just... dafuq. It's all Ned's fault for not teaching Jon basic fucking combined arms theory.

 

Maybe it’s been said but I say Jon and Dany are dying by the end, and Gentry will be on the throne with Arya. Makes sense to me since season whatever back when

 

The Dothraki went on their own, empowered by the flaming swords. It was not part of the plan for them to rush in like that. They only listed to Dani and she was off on her dragon.

Why the catapults did start firing again, once the Dothraki had fallen, I don’t know. Maybe they figured the amount of work to operate versus a fast moving ground force wasn’t worth it. It looked like they only had a few rounds for each anyways, so maybe they ran out of ammo.

Dani didn’t fallow the plan either.

Arty needs to be behind the walls and firing as long as possible, like into the breaches into the ring of fire, etc.

Of course, then you'd ask why the elite unbreakable infantry (unsullied) are not holding the gate BEHIND said ring of fire and/or on the walls...

My thoughts are Arya is not meant for the the throne and she has a lot to pay for with what she did with the faceless man. She either has to die is a bad way or maybe her punishment will be to sit on the throne, maybe that will be her living hell. Either way, it can't end well for her, the faceless man will make sure of that.

I can't see Jon on the throne at the end, and definitely not Dany. Either one would be too predictable.

 

Because it makes him look bad if his wife produced a son that ain't his, even if that son was one of rape and not made willingly. The mad king was a total dick and needed to die, but that doesn't negate Tywin's severe pride.

He'd still be alive is he'd simply treated Tyrion a little better. But...you reap what you sow.

 

One of the best scenes IMO, such a badass battle

 

Watched Endgame last night and couldn’t help but feel underwhelmed after S8E03.
