after creaming the deer and crunching the front, splattering goo all over her!! of all entities, a ford dealership was the only place my insurance would use. I went in with her and had googly bubbles all in my stomach wondering if they had ever seen under the hood of a 3rd gen. Don’t bust a headlight. 780.00. I was lucky that most of the front is plastic and it didn’t damage any metal parts less one pop rivet on the support bracket. It’s fixed
I think they nailed it for a bunch of Ford guys.

But it’s just a body shop. Not being repaired in the ford service department. A lot of people make this misconception. They work on all types of vehicles.

Why is the insurance company dictating the repair location?

Authorized repair shops. If I would have taken it to one of my choice they would have to send out an estimator and it could take at least 2 weeks for him to get there. Authorized shops do the estimate and it’s excepted immediately.

Kick me in the nuts or whatever, but I like this truck way more. Probably my favorite Tacoma.

I like old black too. But after driving the Atkinson for 6months and going back to the 4cyl next in black I had the putt around depressed syndrome. :turtleride:

Been there with 2 deer collisions....thank goodness USAA gave me multiple choices...mostly independents and no complaints.
