anyone ever bought from these guys? I saw a post on cL for a 4Runner, call to make sure it’s still available, head over and it’s not there.... it’s in the shop getting a lift and they want 5k more than advertised. Then the guy tells me if I want it back to stock I’m gonna have to pay. Anyways, i see a 3rd gen taco 4x4 trd or 6spd manual, I check it out and go inside to see some #. What do you know, it’s 4k more than the paperwork they have taped to it. Here’s the kicker. I was just at servco and they gave me an offer on my Tacoma, these guys offer me 6 grand less and pretty much lost there minds when I told them servco offered me “x” the quacks appraised my 2015 with 19k miles as poor condition. I made it very clear that if I could get a better deal than what servco was offering I was gonna buy from them, they went the complete opposite. What I also felt uncool with is the sales guy asked to check out my truck and actually test drove it and after he did, he went through my glove box for my reg without asking first

Sounds pretty sketchy to me. I hate when you go car shopping they ask for your keys or pull shit like that. I guess thats why I buy Toyotas/Lexus from Servco. No BS with Servco, just pay the sticker price, with maybe some discount. I even asked about a trade and the sales guy was honest and said that if I am willing to sell it on my own, I would get way more then trading. It will only benefit if I didnt want to deal with it and the trade amount would be deducted from the sales price so I would pay less Excise tax. They dont even push the extended warranty if you dont want it. Between myself, parents and inlaws, we have purchased 5 vehicles in the last 4 years and every one of them was a pleasant buying experience from Servco Subaru, Toyota and Lexus.

Also, If I remember correctly, alot of the cars Autosource sells are from their Carousel Short term leasing program so basically your buying a rental car. Just be aware.

They suck, are very sketchy, and pull that 5K over advertised all the time. They don't pay your car off until they sell it so it causes issue with banks, insurance, etc.

Shitty part is, if you're looking for a specific car, something nice, especially high end sports cars, that's really the only place to find it unless your dropping 6 figures at Velocity. They tend to scoop up a lot of the special editions, limited packages, etc.

Heard the same about them not paying off in time, as well as shitty to deal with on buying off their lot as well.

If I were buying new, I’d go Maui and ship. Pretty sure they’re not part of Servco and you’ll get a Toyota USA vehicle instead.
