Hey guys newb question here.. about to pull the trigger on a new bumper/winch (a first for me). I’ve narrowed the selection down to the CBI T3 and was wondering the advantages of aluminum over steel. Is the 50-60lbs in weight savings worth a 450$ Premium. If I’d have to re-spring my fronts w 650lb springs it seems like it might be worth it.. any input here would help. Is there anything else to consider here besides weight Vs strength Vs $cost$$??

    Thanks in advance

I have the cbi t3 in aluminum and it did not affect my front springs at all. No changes in mpgs either. Was worth it to me.

I did mid, because I was reading how another member got a branch stuck in there and it broke its headlight, whereas it would have just passed over the headlight if he didn't have the full hoop. Plus, I just like the look of the mid hoop more lol.

Sweet.. decisions decisions.. not sure if the mid hoop will work with my TSS and ‘bro’ grill CBI says it will work but mid hoop looks real close to radar
