Marquette is a cool town, lots of fun stuff to do and see. A lot of history in that town, also a college town, great vibe. A lot of neat places nearby for day trips. Winter can be long, and summer can be short.

I just saved the date for Toyota Takeover at Silver Lake in August, but I'm always down to go to the dunes. Just can't make it this weekend.

Hey guys! It's been a minute since I posted here, but I actually got changed jobs, got married, moved to Novi, and got rid of the Tacoma.

But I recently picked up an '07 4Runner, and plan to sell the stock 17" alloys (265/70R16 mismatched tires w/ decent tread). Before I list them on Craigslist or the Wheel and Tire forum, I figured I'd give you guys first crack at em.
    If anyone's interested, PM me.

Anyone want to meet up memorial day weekend somewhere up north for a bit of 4x4 trail action. I don't like wheeling alone.

I'll normally go to Grayling, last summer I met up with a few other tacos ( @kbp810 @Moto_dj @88Taco @JacksonTacoma ) there and we had a blast!

Manistee forest has plenty of two track roads to explore too, although I have not been there and don't know the area as well I want to do some driving around there also sometime.

Going up to the UP would be to far for me that weekend because I have plans in mid Michigan on Sunday, so I could go as far north as Grayling.:burnrubber:

Awesome, never done any exploring over there. when it gets a little closer let's set an exact location and tear some stuff up!

Sounds good buddy, I'll be on here frequently so I should be easy to reach.

    Have a great day!

I could sure use another day out in the woods; not sure if I'll be able to do memorial day weekend or not though. I'll actually be up north, and not far from Mio (Bull Gap!), just not sure if I'll have the free time to sneak away to hit some trails or not.

Hmm I wouldn't mind checking out Bull Gap since new places are fun to explore...I'm just thinking about heading up Friday night and wheeling Saturday and going back down state on Saturday night. So this will be a short trip for me. I'm staying on the west side of the state in the chain of lakes so Bull Gap is kinda the opposite side of the state up there.

I definitely want to check out some new trails other than Grayling though! And I could plan for a couple days maybe further out in the summer in addition to this time. :mudding:

Mio has some great trails. Nothing too technical. East of Mc kindly bridge road is all fair game. Many take you south to the Aue Sable river. take a break and do some trout fishing or try to talk the drunk tubers into flashing you. (Females)

You rarely will need 4wd if going after the spring rains.
