Did you read the article? It's about the rebirth of the midsize segment, and since Tacoma and Frontier have been holding the segment for the past several years, they left those out to focus on these.

It also about who paid the most to have the odds in their favor, and Toyota knows they do not have to pay to be up front.

Yeah. I bet half these people have no clue what they are talking bout. I read a article from some girl that reviewed the best roof racks for the Tacoma. It was a write up like this and she stated the OEM was #1. She didn't even review the Prinsu that most people own. I take these reviews with a grain of salt.

Ostensibly, not being brand spanking new makes them unworthy. To me, thats a feature.

Colorado and Ridgeline have been around for a while too.

So this list should only include the Gladiator, and the Ranger, even though it is the oldest of the group. It is just returning from death

Magazine reviews don't persuade my vehicular opinion any more than celebrities persuade my political opinion.

The name Tacoma has been around since about 99 or 2000 right, since it came from the nameless pickup? The frontier came around the same time from the “hardbody” pickup. That’s about 20 years or less.

I learned sea turtles can live to over 200 years old, thanks Finding Nemo. And I know tortoises can also live that long, thanks public schools.

The Galápagos Islands have also been in existence for over 25 years.

Honda Ridgeline started around 2005 or 2006.
Ford Ranger started in the 90s I think.

    Something doesn’t add up.

Or this article is horseshit (like I said above) and was written for entertainment purposes, not actual review qualities. Read the “pros and cons” of the vehicles.

The more reviews I read, the more I realize how much I'm looking for things entirely separate from what reviewers look for. Maybe I'm just a weirdo.

I think they're trying too hard to be funny/entertaining.

Well considering the Tacoma sells almost as much as the others combined, I would say many reviewers are looking for things entirely separate from the average consumer.
