    UPDATE:
    1. I believe I am officially caught up on all NEW orders that have been placed!!! If you have placed a new order and you do not see your name on the list, please send me a message.
    2. I would like to thank everyone for their patience during all of this. I try my best to keep up with the communication and the updates as much as I can, but at times it does get a bit hectic.
    3. In the coming weeks, there is going to be a lot of excitement!!! I cannot wait myself ;) I received the first shipment of the Bolt-N-Lock Bracket & Rod orders. I plan to start getting these shipped out on Monday, but I just remembered I am waiting on the Rubber Washers to include with the BNL Bracket & Rod to be delivered on Monday or Tuesday, so it might be Tuesday or Wednesday before these start to ship out.
    4. Do not miss the DSIM Remote Tailgate Opener Package that will be Released Soon on this thread and with @DSIM! Don't forget, you will need to purchase his package as well. More information to come soon. I was really trying to make it work with the stacking option of the two actuators in the Tailgate to save everyone money and keep cost down, but the problem is with having possibly too much flex on the Tailgate with too much going on in that one area. Therefore, come Monday, there will be some testing going on in a couple different bolt-on locations. :) Here is the potential New Package on my end:
PNP Harness/BNL Bracket & Rod w/ DSIM Remote Tailgate Opener Package:
    • PNP Harness (Additional GND / 12V+ Wires)
    • Integrated Harness (Additional UNLOCK Wire w/ Color-Designated Butt Connectors)
    • 2 Actuators
    • 2 BNL Bracket & Rods
    PRICE: TBA

I'm very excited about it myself and I think it is badass! I cannot wait to get this on my truck!

Installed this morning, took roughly 2 1/2 hours (maybe I should have had a better game plan). Only real issue is when I was finished, the doors would auto lock after 1 minute. I’m not sure if something reset when I unplugged the factory harness. Anyway, it was an easy fix by going into settings. I’m very intrigued with the DSIM Remote Tailgate Opener. Make it happen! A big thanks to @KTJO 4x4. Does anyone else have a feeling that she never sleeps?

With the two rubber washers I sliced the 2 of them to make 4 and installed two between the bracket and the camera mount and the other two between the actuator and the bracket . Seems to help keep some noise out . Most of the sound now is just the metal lock cylinder it self echoing in the tailgate it seems . 033D98FF-4825-4FAD-AA03-6B3CBEBCA49C.jpg

For those that have paid but aren’t on the list, I will look at all the PMs tomorrow that I received in the last day or so, and make some more updates. Thanks for the PMs. If you haven’t PMd me and have just posted on the thread, it’s probably a good idea to send me a PM. Things on the thread can get lost. In two mins it can be two pages back already. So please, send me a PM.

The Shipment for the Rubber Washers that are getting sent out with all the Bracket & Rod orders is scheduled to arrive sometime on Wednesday now. Just a little update for everyone.

I wasn't sure if the rubber washers that have been being discussed were going to be included or just a suggestion that would have to be sourced ourselves if we wanted. Awesome you are going to include them as well with the bracket. Thanks!!

Put in my friends' tailgate lock yesterday. She is happy! Bought her '16 used, and the dealer didn't have the tailgate key. Now her tailgate locks! Still so happy for doing this to mine as well...thanks @KTJO 4x4 !

I dynamatted the tailgate from the inside, this also helped.

Yeah some form of sound mat in the tailgate is your best bet if you choose to want it super quiet . The kits she sell give the user a awesome platform to start from if they want to add more .

    UPDATE:

I have received the Rubber Washers in the mail this morning! I will work on packaging up the BNL BRACKET & ROD orders and getting those shipped out soon. I'm still waiting on some items for the FULL KITS that haven't come in yet. I've also checked in on preordering all of the integrated harnesses for when we start the Tailgate Opener add-on Packages as I truly believe it will be a lot easier and quicker to ship out Kits with them already pre-assembled. Depending on the costs, we will see how that goes :)

Now to integrate both your stuff with my remote phone app via auxiliary output that does both at the same time, unlock JUST tailgate, then pop the tailgate...or one, then the other via add-on buttons in my app based smart phone control...anywhere in the work. I already use mine as a locker/safe since I've got a tonneau cover. I throw my keys and stuff in there, lock it with my phone, hit a hidden external-to-the-truck toggle/kill switch that's in line on one of the pop n lock legs (I have the pop n lock way before you came out with this, sorryyy!) and bamo! A safe/locker. Breaking into my cabin and hitting the power door locks will NOT unlock my trunk, only my phone, or the slim valet key within the fob can until I enable this hidden toggle again! A thief will not spend time prying open a hard cover tonneau if they don't know what (if anything) the reward would be!

You @KTJO 4x4 and @DSIM can do the same thing without a smart phone or remote start auxiliary. Just cut one of the legs of both your actuators and have independent toggle switches.

    For you @KTJO 4x4 it would be hidden outside and external, so let your customer's do it, maybe provide the micro 2 legged toggle, and spades crimped to potentially intercept/break one of your lock's circuit, so offer it as an add on option already to plug in series to any one of the legs a customer desires, but let them chose the location to cut so that we don't all know where "the standard advertised mounting location of said toggle/kill switch is at". Use field wire-able/tool-less splice connectors, water proof so likely something like this;

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HVWS4WP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    or this:

    https://www.amazon.com/MUYI-Waterpr...ocphy=9031167&hvtargid=pla-317886184547&psc=1

or the more cost efficient (but not dis-connectable):
    https://www.amazon.com/Connectors-T...of+heat+sh,automotive,196&sr=1-33-spons&psc=1

For you @DSIM it would be something like a panel mount rocker mountable inside the vehicle where if the user wants to manually disable it, they can. (it would operate like the window roll down or children power door-lock, lockout does. Then for safe measure regarding the situation where someone parks against a wall, use a normally closed toggle relay that stays latched during normal operation, then when the parking sensor signal activates while the car is running, use that to trigger that NC relay to open the circuit (essentially break one of your actuators legs). You can do it where if the parking sensor is constantly active, then the circuit is broken, because do realize that these parking sensors fluctuate as you back into narrow places and it could be shrubs on the side triggering it, so you don't want it to latch indefinitely because of that, you want it o stay latched if the parking sensor stay beeping until the car is off, but fluctuate back and forth if the sensor goes on, then off and so on so that you're not latched because you past a hedge running along side your car then cone out to an open are where it WOULD be ok to release the tailgate down. Because the sensors are not active when the vehicle is off, so you need to dynamically change enable/disable of your device based on a running vehicle's last state of parking sensors before it's turned off. This could be tricky because most relays reset on power cycle so you need one that toggles one way, then the other based on an on trigger or off trigger and has a memory state when tied into constant power.

    hey jimmy!
    not to hijack but...
once i hook into the door circuit will my ktjo kit actuate when i lock?
or do i have to figure out auxiliaries and how they work in the app?
    thx bud
