Bought a Fab 4 Premium bumper 6 months ago and I noticed a crack in my headlight from where the bumper rubs against it. I also recently started to notice that the bumper shakes horribly. I have been working with my local dealer to find a solution to my problem and talking with Fab 4. Here is what Fab 4 advised me:

We apologize for the issues you are experiencing with our product.

I spoke with Jonathan in regards to this on 4-18.

I let him know that I consulted my engineering department and they stated this bumper appears to be installed properly.

With Toyota's in the past when have seen them have weaker frames that will not support our bumpers.

Since this is something we cannot control there is not a solution for the vibrating.

The only thing we could offer to return the bumper.

I will need Jonathan to get back in touch with me so we can start the return process.

    Thank you,

    Brooke Altman

Want to know whats going on with my bumper!! Sick of it shaking. It shakes so much, it broke my headlight. Cant replace headlight until you guys figure out whats wrong. Also its rusting already (under a year)!!

I am looking for a bumper with grill/headlight guard.

    Thanks in advance. 20190430_132341.jpg 20190430_132420.jpg

I have the same bumper but its solid as hell and doesn't move ever for anything. Any chance the install skipped something?

They have re-checked the install 2x now and Fab 4 says it is installed correctly! I'll try to get video.

If you do, and it will help - I can try and compare mine to yours wherever its moving. Maybe my installers did something special.

I like the looks of Mobtown, Demello, CBI... Maybe you'll have better luck than them. It's pretty cool that they're not fighting you on the return, though.

I'm not trying to sound like a dick OP but I would rather take that bumper off and not have one at all. That thing looks like it weighs a ton. I am sure that tumor that sticks out past the grille is adding a ton of weight far forward and is throwing off the suspension, something it's not designed for. I've never liked that design and imo you can find something better.

Thing weighs 220 to 250lbs. Your config looks like 250lbs. You have stock suspension?

Also.. did you hit it on something. That bumper takes away heavily from your approach angle. Ot looks like you may have come down on it and pushed the bumper into the headlights.
