I see expected date is May 2019. Is this a for sure date or can it be delayed? I’m hesitant about ordering because I seen dates keep getting pushed back.

There is no definite data at the moment so the dates can be changed. The lights are currently in production with Morimoto

Loving my sequentials.
Had some time behind the wheel at night and the output is defiently better than stock.

 

Any feel for how they compare to stock housings with HID?

 

Posts like this make me want to consider these more.

 

I never installed HIDd into stock housings so I can’t comment.

 

My experience after retrofitting hundreds of lights, these will be a lot brighter than stock with Hids. Remember the stock lamps are designed for halogen. Although they are brighter with hid,, you don't get the full benefit of hid.

Just an observation....
Since there are three projectors in each housing (two for low beam and one for high) I’m sure I’ll get flashed often because oncoming traffic will assume I’ve got my brights on. When they do, I’ll flash back the 3rd projector.

I’m looking forward to getting these. Miss my retrofits from my 2nd gen and this will allow me to get one more bit of chrome off my 3rd gen. It is hard to tell for me at least by some of the pictures....the chrome on the projectors almost looks black?
Hoping these things ship in May as promised, then again they were originally supposed to come out in March...

 

Acura using the same design which these headlights were based on. The bigger XB headlights like the Ford, RAM etc have 2 low beams and 2 high beams.

WELL here ya go folks. Don't hold me liable for any measurements. This is backyard redneck testing.(my. neighbors probably thought I was a little off. All setups were LED. EXCEPT the stock headlight which has a halogen bulb. I wish I would have had an RX350 handy..but unfortunately not
Draw your own conclusions.
I tried to do an accurate comparison of DRIVERS side ONLY (keep it easier to compare). The XB kinda cheats because it has DUAL low beam projectors.... so I will compare it to my Bi-LED dual 3" retrofit. (that's only fair right?! )

So yeah... it kicks butt. compared to stock and even the crappy LED OEMASSIVE/WINJET/ebay(all the same)


But how does TWO of those perform compared to ONE of it's big brother; the MORIMOTO M-LED Projector?
