So, i just picked up a 2019 and want a scangauge 2. I have one in my jeep and a similar product- bully dog- in my xterra. the jeep manual says can cause issues for safety etc and the dealer even tried to blame by USB port issue on it. LOL. ended up being a problem with the number of files on the usb stick.

my question is, is there anything anywhere in the manuals that state not to use anything in the OBDII port?

Nope plug it in and go. I got a y splitter for it so I don't have to unplug the scangauge.

Nope. Plug it in and enjoy.

Those Chrysler products are temperamental. Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge are the only makes I've seen have issues with a scangauge. It can't read or reset codes, though I haven't tried it since getting my scangauge firmware updated.
