@chuckers does the blackstone grille slide into the bedframe?

Yessir it does. The cook surface flips upside down and sets over the base for storage. There’s a couple more photos on my build page too

I love that grill. It’s the best 79 bucks I ever spent at ACE hardware

To adjust SPCs I just have to remove the top and bottom nut holding the ball joint in place, rotate the ball joint to the desired setting, then reinstall it?

Gonna do it myself this time, had a shop do it during an alignment last time.

Couldn't find a video on the adjustment procedure but found plenty on the install, looked like they put the ball joint in at the desired setting then put the top and bottom nuts on, but if I can simply adjust it via removing the top nut that'd be even easier/better. I'll give it a try tonight

I have that, thanks but unfortunately it's just installation instructions and shows which position equals which caster numbers, but doesn't mention specifically how to adjust for the caster.

Shouldn't be hard to figure out, either the top nut needs to come off or the top and bottom nut. Either way it shouldn't be difficult

Got the valve covers back from powder coating today. This is the first time that I've ever had VCs painted. I think the smooth finish will be easy to maintain. I got the idea from another member who recently had his done in red.

Don’t know what’s worst. The one who thought of it or the ones who’s going to buy it and put it on their vehicle.

Take it back in. They want to replace your frame, they make good money for those. My dealer inspected mine every couple months until my window closed. They tried like hell to find something...

Thats exactly it - the PDF. So remove the top nut (don't touch the castle nut - no need to), raise the UCA off of the ball joint and then remove the star plate from the ball joint. Then rotate the SPC logo to where you want it according to the chart. Place the star plate back onto the hex of the ball joint in the correct orientation (per the chart) and then lower the UCA back on to the ball joint. Torque to 150 and call it a day. Good luck.

Basically treat it as if you were installing it from the start - pick the setting you want and go with it instructions from step 10

Gotcha, sounds easy...gonna try this tonight. I just lowered my front Kings down some so it's rubbing again, I'm not going to trim anymore if I don't have to so hopefully this will take care of it.

According to the chart I'm at the +2.0 setting right now, I'm going to put it at +4 unless that's not recommended?

I wonder if I should get an actual alignment afterward, think I'm overdue for one anyway

Adjusting castor from the uca isn't going to make rubbing the firewall any better, it'll actually be worse because it move the upper ball joint towards the firewall.

So should I do the opposite then (add negative caster via the SPC) and max caster via the lower cams from an alignment shop? Or just leave the SPCs alone at +2 setting and see if the alignment shop can fix it

I set it to the default position "D".

Then had the alignment shop work on the alignment via the cams.

    Per SPC:
