99% of the drivers in the rush-hour commute have been doing it every day for months or years. It'd be really odd if many were surprised by it because it's part of their routine. The ones who truly can't handle it find a way to not do it (usually either by moving, changing jobs/shifts or using something like a van-pool so they're only driving in it 2-3 times per month and riding the rest of the time).

I've lived in the area long enough to generally know if it is a part of OC or LAC and those are "counties" without even thinking about the actual individual "city lines". I remember when I first moved to the OC area, I had to fill out some paperwork for... well, whatever the "F" it was that I was filling out... but anyways, it asked "what county" and I was like, "I don't F***ING KNOW"???

But yeah, I'd stay away from the more inner parts of Santa Ana (i.e. 17th street, Grand, Fairview, 1st, 4th, and the LIST goes ON AND ON)!!! Generally, from "my experiences", as you start going more EAST from Tustin Ave towards the Santa Ana mountains, it gets better and better with less ghetto a$$ people you have to deal with!!! As you travel further WEST from around Harbor it gets a bit better, but you have to pretty much go ALL THE WAY towards Beach Blvd until you start getting further away from the ghetto a$$ people you have to deal with!!! That's just EAST/WEST. So, pretty much Santa Ana needs to be NUKED, built back up, NUKED TWICE, then buried!!! LMAO!!! Don't know if you can tell how much I HATE that shi*hole F'N "city"???!!!:censored::smash::rolleyes:

The area(s) you're talking about where you will be "traveling in/out..." is more Anaheim'ish or "City of Orange" (i.e. if I am not mistaken). Anyways, I can't really speak about those areas good/bad. I also really can't recommend of any places to stay as I don't know of any... good/bad? :notsure:

Btw, it really IS ghetto in most of the areas I "listed". During the daytime, not toooooo bad, but go there at night and park your fancy trucks with RTT's and all the fancy other shi*. THEN come back a few weeks later and tell me how things are. I lived near 17th Street for almost two years and just too much stupid shi* at night and sometimes even during the day near Main. You guys posting shit that it isn't "too bad" need to watch the news more or actually live in the area... 2x stores getting robbed at gunpoint during the daytime hours is NOT my idea of a "too bad of an area"??? o_O Just to name SOME of the stupid shi* that happens in... oh, wait a minute... Santa Ana. :smack::facepalm: But hey, what do "I" know anymore??? I was tagged in this thread, said my piece, moving on!!!

Btw, to the OP, don't know exactly what you are doing here in the local area, but safe travels for whatever the reasons.:fistbump::drunk:
