I’ve got a Pelfrey bilt bumper for my third gen and I’m having trouble finding a light bar that will fit it.

Pelfrey used to suggest the Baja S8 to fit in the bumper, but with how little I plan on using the light bar I have trouble justifying that cost... about half what I paid for the bumper.

Anyway pictures attached are the dimensions of the plug that fits very well in the hole. I’ve tried two bars. Both have been well under the width which isn’t a problem, the length is the issue. First one was about .3 too long and I couldn’t even bend the brackets out wide enough to fit it. The second one was about .5-.75 too short. The stack up of washers and spacers I’ve had to use to get it to stay in place looks ridiculous.

Has anyone had good success with a sub $100 light bar in a 3rd gen Pelfrey front plate bumper?

Could you have taken a grinder to that .3 inches or would that make the bracket or light bar to thin?

I could have, but to even get it that close I had to bend the brackets out. I would have went for it if it was closer.

Ok. I got nothing... not a light bar fan in the first place. Sorry I couldn't help more.
