    On 27APR, I had my in-cab ham radio installed. The radio is a BTEC ( Baofeng ), antenna is a Motorola TW-7500 ( no tuning required ), and the tailgate mount is from @CaliRaisedLed. The install required the initial hole on the mount to be drilled out to 3/4" and left marks on the top side, so I used PlastiDip to recover the whole thing along with part of the actual antenna mount to minimize the chrome and in doing so, I unintentionally created a weather proof seal between the bed mount and antenna mount ( which is a good thing ). Unfortunately, I can't leave the antenna on 24/7 because it won't fit in the garage if I do, so it will only go on the truck when being used.

    True hands free. I don't want to have to press the Alexa button in the app to activate it and I have my phone automatically go to Do Not Disturb when it pairs to my truck. I don't want handle my phone at all when driving.

    Finally. A pic of the windows tinted on a magnetic gray truck. I been thinking about doing my fronts but was waiting to see a pic. Looks great. 30% is dark as I can go living in NY. Think I’ll have to do the same.

    I hauled a feral cat 8 miles down the highway tonight and I don't see a darn thing wrong with the oem headlights on these Tacoma's. Brights worked just fine too. This was the 1st time I have driven at night for several years. Never had to go anywhere after dark before.

    License plate lights were bright enough for me to see to release the door on my live trap even. Works for me. :thumbsup:

    Yeah, the app has to be open. When my phone pairs to the truck, DND While Driving is active. Alexa isn't listening at that point. I also use SiriusXM streaming and you cant control it from the app.

    Looking for some lighting advice....I am still running stock lighting and fogs and interested in better options out there. Thought about Pro lights but i see that those are a pricey upgrade and not really worth it.
