    Why?
This has NOTHING to do with OVtune (software).

He had a very fucked up wiring issue, and NOT something that the factory did either.

    Damn you.

Guess I'll have to check under there the next time I'm greasing my CREAKY-ASSED clutch pedal lol.

Figured they would have fixed that by now. My 2008 made all kind of noises.

It was a good truck for the day, but I'll put it this way.. I won't be trading in my '16 for a second gen.

The fix for it is to use Disc Brake Grease, the Factory Grease melts away in the heat and you get the old barn door creak.

If I remember correctly, my 2008 had white lithium grease applied from the factory and then reapplied when I took it in for a TSB. Like you mentioned, it didn't hold up well in the Texas heat.

Yeah the factory grease sucks and melts away in no time.

That was probably done by the stealership. When I was running the wire harness for my plug and play ********* amp. I saw that when they added the bed lights to my truck, they used the same type of connectors. I did remove them and soldered to avoid future headaches.

Thanks again everyone. I did buy it new, so it must be from the dealership. I’m going to pull out the solder and address it when I get back home for sure.
