Whatever man, my stock 17's did just fine in the mud. I mean, SmanZ didn't have to push me too much :D

I certainly don't mind driving too much... but if that guy in Richmond can pull something together, it saves 3 hours of driving.

Unless we can do it on a day that the Nationals are in town. I'm on a quest to get to every MLB stadium.

LOL! I didn't know he had anything to do with it....I use it all the time to find trails and fishing holes....just download, zoom, and look ;) sometimes I peep trails in Chilli and Jamaica if I get board....but you gotta go drive by once you find it cause you can't allways see a chain accross the trail head.

i found one of the trails highlighted on that map. i was in a work car so i only walked about half a mile up just to scope it out. the slope is fairly steep and it looks like a good place to have some fun. anyone else wanna go exploring next weekend if we fix my AAL in Stafford? Its only about 15-20 mins from where we will be doing the install. I've got one more place I want to check out today on my way home that's only about a mile from where I live. I'll let you know.

Looks like fun. Is it private property or anything? Did you notice any "tresspassers will be shot" signs? LOL

you and caduceus would be proud, my virgin 1100 mile tacoma is now a dirty nasty off-roading slut bag. the trails near my house were pretty fun, at least a couple miles worth of driving. we spent about an hour exploring some of the more established trails but they all dead-ended eventually so turning around in narrow spaces was kind of interesting. there was lots of mud, lots of ruts and obstacles, and lots of fun. and i only scratched up one side of my truck, lol. definitely a convenient area for me since its only about a mile from my home, i plan on going back to explore some of the smaller trails and see if they lead anywhere.

smanz if you end up coming down here for the AALs i'll definitely take you and anyone else who comes over that way, or we can head over to the other trails a little further from my house and give those a try. they looked like a blast from what i saw earlier today and i think they are probably more suitable to drive without having to do 50 point turns to backtrack. they looked a little more aggressive as far as rocks and roots go, so i don't want to drive them until the suspension is fixed. do you have a winch in your bumper? if so there's even another area we can check out too but it was recommended that at least someone in the group have a winch.

Lol after fully understanding how long it takes to clean the truck up...lol I guess I'll go if its been dry out :p

Call me a big girl, go ahead!!! Haha maybe someday I'll be able to muddy up the truck and keep it that way. For the moment I like it to shine inside and out, and everywhere I can't see :p

So what day next week are you guys thinking? I'm going to be tied up one of the two days - just don't know which one yet. Got a bud going back to Argentina for a few years and we're taking him out somewhere for one last kickass day trip next weekend.
