For what it is worth. I had to push my qwik change on about 1/8” past flush. I had an oversized washer on hand. The alignment was too far off for comfort on the idler puller. I didn’t notice till it was all back together. It did not change how far I cut the snout.

The last picture shows the extra washer I used. Lastly, my puller messed up the internal threads because I forgot to put the sacrificial Allen head screw in first. I got so overwhelmed with truck time and injectors in the mail that it slipped my mind. Not the dumbest thing I’ve done by far, just bone headed, I’ll take it.

It comes with the puller. You screw this into the end of the shaft then plant the puller into the Allen head socket instead of directly onto the threads of your supercharger shaft.

You will get it with the puller. I put it in the bag.

Just run a tap through the threads you messed up. That happened to mine as well because I didn't use a sacrificial bolt either. I just ran a tap through it with some WD-40 for lubrication purposes. Cleaned it all up and I was good to go again.

Yeah, that is what I ended up doing. M8 1.25 pitch. I used some cutting oil as well. I had to at that point because the snout cutter had to thread in there.

It comes with the install tool from URD. However, any local Ace Hardware should have something sufficient, M8x1.25 is the bolt size and pitch. Get the hardest one you can find (no signature quotes) because the puller is going to abuse it.

And if you let a 2-arm puller cock any, it will break the head of the bolt off and cause much foul language. It will also lead you to finding a screw extractor which will break off in the leftover bit of the screw causing much more foul language. Then after carefully drilling around the broken extractor and careful coaxing, the screw will finally surrender and come out, you can clean up the threads, get the three arm puller you should have got in the first place, and pop the pulley off in 30 seconds.

Well Holy shit guys. I just pulled the driveshaft and drove around in 4WD, zero sounds. Bout to install the new driveshaft and see if I hear anything. If the sound comes back im guessing that would be like a rear transfer case bearing or something.
