That is a very nice looking truck. Good score. Nice it is already lifted. Welcome to the herd. Everything you want to know about these trucks is available here. It is a great community and a great knowledge base.

Brackets are to keep the plastic parts of your front bumper from flexing and getting moved around too much. Namely the areas underneath your headlights.

Alright so I took a few photos so you could see where I was zooming in from since it's tucked away. First 2 shots are me getting down to the bracket on the passenger side so you know where to look for it. The 2 bolt side will mount to your SSO bumper, the 1 bolt side will mount to your fender. The correct side bracket will V backwards towards the back of your truck.

I had to get slightly longer bolts to make the nut sit properly and get some threads on it. The nut on the outside is in the 4th pic. I spray painted it black so it would blend in with the truck more. I don't know if this is right, but thats how I did it.

Since your bumper is already mounted the easiest way to get them on is to just take off the plastic on the front of the wheel well. And turn your tire to give you some extra room. Hope that helps. GL!

First, my baby turned 800 miles last week! Not bad considering I got it back in September of last year, lol. Also 95 degrees! Nice AZ!

Second, I installed some front bilstein 6112s the first week I got the truck back in Sept of last year (already shared that update with the group back then). The shocks were set at the highest setting and it essentially leveled out the truck without making any adjustments to the rear. Long story short. Depending on where the truck was parked, I always felt that the rear appeared lower than the front. Also when looking at the truck from the back, it always appeared that the bed was lower or loaded with stuff. Anyway, this really bothered me as I wasn't completely satisfied with the look.

This week, I added a 1 inch rear block lift from Pro Comp. Really happy with outcome! I think the 1 inch lift to the rear made a huge difference and love the outcome. Here are some before and after pictures. The first picture is before the rear lift and the second two are from after the 1 inch lift. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

The 18 year old who everyone hates here! Finally got the Trd Pro grille. Pretty easy intall. Im trying to make my sport look like a trd pro even though it isn’t. But I’m happy! Thinking about plastidipping the bumper and fenders. But Im also thinking about getting trd pro intake and maybe trd pro exhaust but I want to find a slighter louder one. I know it’s a waste of money but I dont think any of us are good with money. LOL maybe slightly tint the headlights and get LED’s
