Ordered from JTP on Amazon. Reviews were good. Paid $169 CAD...free shipping. The local dealer wanted $510.00!!!!!!!

I think it's an American company, but it was obviously made in China. Packed well. No blemishes or dings in it. Anyway, it fit perfectly, easy install. 15-20 min. Looks so much better than the chrome cheese grater. The TOYOTA letters come separate. Just screw em in. Ill probably spray the TOYOTA black too.20190503_111634.jpg 20190503_111729.jpg20190503_113445.jpg 20190503_114231.jpg 20190423_155001.jpg

Nice. Seems like a decent price from what I've seen.

I always see these and want to change mine over, but then I remember my plastidip job is kind of unique and get all heartfelt for the work (not much mind you) that I put in to it. Hahaha

Nothing much to it. There are several threads and youtube videos on plastidiping your grille. Popping the whole thing out is two bolts on top, and then it pops out. Separating the pieces can be tricky though as there are a BUNCH of screws, and tabs holding it together. You may break a few tabs. Kind of sucks, but whatever. The center emblem pops out with 3 tabs. Pretty easy.

Painting it is fairly easy as well. (Easier than the side and rear badges) You'll need 3-6 cans of plastidip. Do light coats in the beginning and build up a base. Waiting intervals vary with temperature, but 10-15min is def a safe bet. Take a look and if shit looks like it may run, then give it some more time. The more coats you do, the more durable it'll be, and the easier it'll be to peel off later if you so choose. For the front emblem I derped it first, then color matched it. (automotivetouchuppaint.com or something like that) The reason I derped it first was in case I didn't like it, I can just peel it off. Oh yeah, also the cooler the temperatures you derp in, the more textured the look. I prefer the textured look so I waited till late fall when temps (where Im at) were around 45-55F during the day.

Honestly, the whole thing is holding up great. A lot of miles and a lot of trail riding and its good. Just be careful with a pressure washer, you can mess it up with that. I did, and had to redo the whole thing. No love lost, other than a days worth of my time.

I went OEM Pro Grill route from a TW member @gunny1005 ; total cost with grill, garnish, plug, and push lock washers was $270. I'll be ordering all my OEM stuff from him from now on.
