Having a Mountain Standard IPA at Odell while waiting to take a brewery tour...

They distribute about 10% of their total volume on their stasis releases but as far as I know, it’s only local distro. Don’t think it makes it much further north than LA. They could possibly distro to some shops further, but I doubt it. The shops would likely have to come and pick it up themselves if that were the case.

 

Tupps is putting out some good stuff!

And so is Celestial. They are killing it!

 

It’s a classic,tasty!

Let me just say... <rant> I don’t know how you folks in moronic states do it... it took several stops to find a place that carried 1) Beer 2) Not 24 Pack PBR..... SHEESH! </rant>

To which moronic state are you referring?

 

Normally not a fan of goose islands offerings, but this is pretty good for a porter, I would even call it a session beer.

 

This state that has ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control) stores... but they don’t carry beer. But Beer is treated like wine... so, maybe grocery stores... if they feel like it.

I’m in the middle of Bama... I’d swear I was in a dry county!

Yeah....I would have a hard time as well. I feel your pain.

 

I am wholly expecting the alcoholic items to be locked out tomorrow for Blue Sundays....

 

Used to have those up here in the NE.
They sure did make you have to think ahead.

 

I got a hazeboi. I shocked even myself. But it was one of their first beers released, so I had to get it.

 

But to make up for the hazeboi, I got a 4 pack of member? IPA (my favorite beer from them) and a West Coast IPA is Dead t shirt

 

Sounds a little like North Carolina. I’m fortunate that a couple of the more fancy grocery stores near me keep a good stock of craft.

On a somewhat related note, our ABC stores aren’t great either. If you like anything better than Jim Beam or Jose Cuervo, you’re going to have a bad time.
