    hi,
There’s tons of post on here in regard to this topic but not finding what I need.

I’m looking for the most cost effective way to mount a RTT to the bed, with the ability to easily remove it so I can throw the tonneau cover back on? Any suggestions would be awesome, thanks in advance.

Is 2 low rise bed bars out of the question? Cheap, effective, on and off in just a few minutes. It’s not a full commitment like a heavy steel bed rack.

kbvoodoo.com makes a decent hi rise bed bars ordered 2 for mine $368 shipped... supposed to hold 600lbs allows for roll up tonneau cover, only raises tent 6" off the bed... idealy I would spend the extra $500 and get the max modular rack they make in a 14" flavor. the hi rise bolts intot he bed rack, and easily removable from the bed, and or kust the bars... depending on what knob/bolt you get with it..

It sounds like you don’t need a RTT
