When I lived in Texas a neighbor raised emus. They got out of the pen one day and came to my house. 6 of them. I heard my son yelling and ran out to see an emu chasing him around the yard. I grabbed the lid off the trash can and got between them. Damn thing was using his feet and beak. I was lucky he didn't kick my ass. The neighbor showed up with his dog and herded them back home.
