Tacoma posts its best 1st quarter ever

Jeezuzz.......Nissan is selling more 20-year-old “New in Box” Frontiers than Ford is selling New Rangers.

Maybe Frontier is the “Tacoma Killer”

 

Didn't somebody have a bet with somebody else about 2019 sales Tacoma vs ranger? Not looking good for the Ford...

 

Ford brought the Ranger, a 2012 designed truck sold in other counties, to the US after making a few changes to meet emissions and safety standards here in America. It’s nearly 8-years old and potential buyers are staying away. I have seen exactly one on the road since they came out. Ford wanted to cash in on the growing mid-size truck market with the smallest investment possible and it bit them in the ass.

If Ford shrunk the current F150 by 30% and kept the same good looking body style it would have sold like hot cakes.

 

That just can't be. Some online reviewers told us the Ranger was bestest because: so new and fresh.

 

I’ve only seen a few Rangers near home, and this one down in Baja California several days ago. The lift improved the looks a bit.

 

This isn’t a bad review and they do mention the Taco and the Frontier
