So I was on the highway and the semi truck's mud flap came off and whacked my bumper, somewhere around 80-90mph. I'm just glad it didn't hit my windshield

I can get some of the black smudges off with just my finger so I'm HOPING a magic eraser can clean it up but, do you guys have any other suggestions?

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Get some Polishing compound. NOT Rubbing compound. It may take a few times going over it by hand but most of that should come off.

I would hit that with a can of brake cleaner and a Terry cloth towel/rag.

Skip the magic eraser. Start with the least aggressive method first. Polish. Try Meguiars ScratchX. If that doesn't work step up to a compound like Meguiars ultimate compound. From a big box store or auto parts store. Use it on a microfiber waxing pad.

I had what I think is similar from a alligator strip left by a truck in fast lane of 95 South.

I use a medium power Goop product and it came off pretty quickly. Have used for a few things and never damages the clear or paint. To be safe I use and follow with soap and thorough rinse.
