    OP...
@Toytec Lifts is the way to go with 700# up front Boss 2.0. Is what I am running with Add a Leaf, bump stops, and SPC UCAs. Get the extended rear break lines. Also have the RCI sliders.... just rattle can them. Cheaper and fun to do yourself. Give them a call and they will hook you up right. Great people and super friendly.

As for Wheels ... I love my stock wheels. I did put some Les Schwab Open Range 265/75/16 siped. Awesome tires.

Think about looks vs. practicality. Sure huge ass tires look cool but if you are going to spend 95% of the time on pavement and snow... don’t really need the huge tires. My opinion only. I am way comfortable airing down on these tires and hitting almost any trail here. I was all about KO2s, did my research and decided to go with something newer and see. So far so Great. The newer KO2s don’t have the Snow Peak on them. That’s my biggest gripe. So do your research... don’t just listen to me or anyone else.

Buy what you want, need, and can afford. TacomaWorld will spend your money even while you are sleeping. Great people and info.

    Hope to see ya around.

Agreed. If OPs application isn’t high speed high frequency cycling, it’s not necessary.

Truck is already more than capable, most likely.

Great info here guys! Didn’t have much done to my old Subaru other than recovery gear. But that’s about all I needed in snowy Minnesota. Bought a Tacoma when I moved to Phoenix this year and am glad to know everyone else obsesses about upgrades and spending wisely too. Happy trails y’all!

Was gonna say the same thing. May as well take advantage of a local shop & save on shipping. I really liked & wanted Bamf sliders but due to the cost of shipping I went with RCI. Received the tax time 15% discount and picked them up last week. Woo Hoo

Loads of good info in here and a stellar looking truck. What resources ended up being most useful to you as you made your way through the self-install? I'd love to do it myself when the time comes but I'm most afraid of not putting something together in accordance with a standard and something breaking during use (e.g. something not tightened down enough).

That’s one of the reasons I went with ADS. A friend of mine has them and I like the ride of his truck. I wanted to be a little different and didn’t want blingy blue kings. ADS popularity will grow by word of mouth.
