I'm sure this has been discussed but I can't read hundreds if not thousands of threads. Forgive me. My 2011 Taco has its running lights and turn indicators as the same light. I went to a new Spyder headlight housing (LED) and cant get rid of the quick blink outside of installing a load resistor. If I do that, it will be "resisting" constantly due to the running light phase of the light. Is this ok? Is there another option? Can I get a professional separate the running light circuit from the turn indicator circuit?

    Welcome!

You should be fine running the resistor all the time. All it does is put more load on the circuit to imitate a halogen bulb.

You should be able to buy bulbs with resistors built in so you don’t have to install it in-line.
