LOL I waited 3 months for his turn signals to get in stock, was on them like ugly on an Ape when his site marked them in stock.

I was kinda shocked at how much they seemed to make a difference when looking at the truck from the front. Seems to "sleek" it out more. Now those foglights REALLY have to go lol.

yeah I tried a switch kind of like that on mine, didn't even last the year hahaha

so then I tried a proximity switch
    https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07DXJL818/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

in theory it should have worked but, it did not hahaha I think its because I put it on a DC circuit.
12v goes in and comes out but the light strip doesn't come one, only one of the LED's illuminates.

I got mine when he was first developing them so I paid 99 unpainted, but yep it 75 for a set now, Sport or Off Road versions. I think I paid like $18 for shipping.

Letters and end piece are separate so it's easy for painting. ;)

Wife was arguing with me last week when a stock Tacoma drove by us, she did not believe me when I said it was the same truck. Lol did not want to say too much, as she might figure out how many things I have changed, then she'll ask how much I spent.... (lord help me when the 8112 and 8100's come in, gonna have to hide those in the garage real fast).

It was nice and shiny a few weeks ago too, I went to a local Toyota dealer that had a Black Pro in stock. Asked the salesman why the paint on the new truck looked so rough and scratched up. He said black shows everything. I pointed out my truck a few meters away and said "That's a 17, two years on the road and never seen a garage. Not washed in a couple weeks and it looks better than this". Lol he walked around my truck and asked what wax I used, I said to him (truthfully btw) "not put wax on the truck since last spring".

Gawd I'm such a Troll. :boink:

I see that Pro is gone but I should go back now that it's super shiny, and tell the sales guy I washed the truck and to have a look. Hehehehe

I've got 2-30ml bottles, I used 80% of one bottle doing 3 layers on half the truck.

Last year I used 1 full 30ml bottle for 2 layers on the whole truck. And had a little bit left over.

3.0 is a little easier to use than the original as it has a longer "working time", but you have to wipe/buff it more after flashing than the original Cquartz.

I first wiped off the excess with a microfiber cloth, beffed it lightly with the clean side of the microfiber, then waited about 30 secs and buffed again with the supplied orange buffing cloth, worked great.

Don't apply in sunshine! I found that out last year, cures too fast to buff afterwards, and you get haze spots you'll have to machine polish out (easy but a waste).

They JUST had one yesterday! Looks like quite a few people showed upto that one.

But you are in luck, first post of this thread has an updated Calendar that has the dates, times places that these crazies meet up.

You say your truck in bone stock? Lol not for long...

Stock truck owners have to bring a cooler and beer to all the meetups though, otherwise you have to visit Joe's tent.
