I have another one in my suppressed ar pistol, it gets expensive. I just use it for quick double taps on that... this one is just for fun.

Few goodies arrived today.

 

I caught my dog chewing on a 30-06 round in our living room.

 

I have a bolt action .308 and an AR in 7.62/.308. Ammo for them, not so much.
Was out at the store last Saturday and they had an end cap with Fioochi .223
and .308 for 99.99. The .308 was 149.99 which I thought immediately was
a mistake. They had 3 cans of 180 rounds in ammo box left.

Among other things I picked up I grabbed 2 cans of the .308. When I went
to pay they rang up at 149.99. I told the cashier that they were on sale for 99.99
so she changed it, I paid and off I went. After I got home I had wished I
had gotten all 3 cans because the other would surely sell fast.

Fast forward to today I went back out there and surprisingly that 3rd can was
still there. I knew it was going home with me. One of the floor managers there
that I know I talked to about it. He went over to check it out and said yep, the
tag was a mis-print at 99.99 for the .308 stuff but he said I could get it for
the 99.99 since it was shown at that.

Since I don't have much .308/7.62 anyway I also picked up some cases, bullets,
primers, and die set. After I got home I decide to check on the pricing of the
Fioochi 180 round can 150 grain FMJBT. Cheapest I could find was 124.99 and
highest was $175. So I guess you could say I got one heck of a deal on the ammo.

My third Glenfield 60, a new CZ 452 and some ammo samples. I’ve been wanting to try the Norma, Aguila Match and the Green Tag.

 

I'm terrible at pictures so you'll just have to use the ol' imagination. 500 rounds of American Eagle Supressor 22lr, 500 Game Shok High Velocity, and 500 Winchester 124gr NATO 9mm. Hope to re-zero the rifle and handgun today with them.

 

Did you have to wait or anything when you bought the ammo?

 

I purchased a new 8 round clip for my wife's newish Kimber Micro 9. The longer mag fits my hand much better. We had some issues out of the box with FTL and brass ejection trajectory, but Kimber seems to have resolved the problems. I have confidence in it at this point. I do kinda wish we had gone with the .380. It's a little more recoil than she would like, since its such a small frame.
