Only Horsepasture rd is pre runner friendly.
However...if your not locked, coming up that loose gravel from the lake turnaround may be a bit sketch.

It's been quite a while since I was up there. Gulches and The Flats are the only places I've been at recently.

 

I think I might take a ride up to Bob's creek later today. It's just pretty much a dirt rd but I havnt been all the way to the top yet.

 

As of Thursday when I came thru. You have to go around/between some traffic cones to get to it, Wasn’t blocked at all though. Not saying things couldn’t change with the road work going on right now.

 

I just requested to join the Facebook group. From Greenville but in Tampa Florida for work currently. Im also not sure which Facebook account I requested from as my main account is serving a prison sentence. Lol.

 

According to a guy on the HPR thread, you can still make it down to Jocassee by using one of the off-shoot roads.

 

I'm out of town next weekend but after that I'm down. Would like to camp also.

2wd, stock (low) height, street tires.

I'm thinking Saturday 5/18 to 5/19 maybe some camping.

 

And since this is a beers and cheers thread we'll have to plan on cracking open a few once we get to the campsite.

 

I’m open for after 3 on the 11th, for a “hang out” time.
