    So I solved my traction issues LOL. Shout out 132' Holeshot at Quitman- a local city run drag race I promote and organize. QuitmanDrags.com shameless, I am.
    May 18 is my first race event I'll actually get to compete in, so I'll get some timeslips then. Probably still won't be good until I get a new converter. Thinking about a 3500 or maybe all the way up to 4k stall :devil:

    Those Cal-Tracs work exceptionally well. Had them for years on my truck. Due to the nature of my build I have a tight gap, but no preload on the springs.

    What is your setup like?

    I got a couple guys to help me set them up like the directions said. I sat in driver seat, made contact with leafs, and then 1/2 turn "tight". I marked that position with nail polish. For daily driving I relax them 1 full turn. They squeak and make a little noise, but it draws people eye to the rear and they're usually like "what the hell" LOL

    I made 2 passes on a prepped street with them and I don't launch hard enough to notice any pulling in either direction, but certainly the wheel hop it nonexistent even with street tires.

    I did modify my ebrake for launching yesterday. I took out the little "clickers" that hold the ebrake out. Now I pull the ebrake tight, and just let it go and it releases. No button, no half turn. Just pull and release! That should help a lot until I get a new converter.
