I have 6 matching wheels and tires. I rotate all 6 and on longer trips carry two spares. I like to rotate often and it would be nice to be able to update the sensors on my own.

I’m considering buying a tool dedicated to this function, but before I do that, I’m wondering if I can do it with fusion. So - Is there a way to program the stored sensor IDs using obd fusion? I see there are TPMS related PIDs, but not sure if this is possible.

I dont know about Fusion, but I know Carista was adding TPMS function. I am not sure what all you can do with it, as they were in the process of rolling it out just as my trial expired. Might be worth looking into, plus you can do some customizations that are pretty nice with it.

I had the trial in October when I bought my truck. Not sure when the TPMS rolled out. It may have been active then, just not for the trial version. I didnt really dive into that either, I had no use for that feature.

I think IF you know the Sensor ID's you can use the Carista app/device to program in TPMS. But, if you don't know the ID's. from a second set of wheels that are unknown. you would have to have the TPMS tool that scans the sensors and gets the codes off of them. I think once you know the ID's you can switch up wheels/tires between sets and program the TPMS computer. However, if you are just rotating your tires, the sensors ID's should be discoverable inside the Carista app and then you would have the needed ID's to change where they are located. I believe this to be true, but may be inaccurate. I have asked them as well.
