I really recommend a lift and a beefier than stock IFS skid for White Mtn, without a lift especially there will be some stock skid bashing for sure

Hot in the foothills and cold in the mountains lol. Same as here basically, except bees everywhere. Was driving with my window down and enjoying the mountain air when one flew in the truck and stung me on the back, about gave my wife a heart attack when it happened lol

yeah, that's a perfect kit actually...comes with the shackles and a hitch receiver which is the best way to recover from the rear (or to pull someone with). I think we used my hitch receiver on your truck last time we did White Mountain when you were pulling me up.

If you don't have a hitch receiver you have to wrap the recovery strap around the frame or around the rear bumper mount brackets, which is not ideal.

yea, thats the kit I have, I was making the sure the strap was appropriate for a recovery. I'm considering buying another strap, maybe a snatch strap, just in case.

yeah they call it a 'tow strap' in the description but it's a basic recovery strap, a tow strap has metal hooks on the ends which you definitely don't want.

The best kind of strap is a recovery strap that has some elasticity to it, like a snatch strap. Much easier on both trucks being used in recovery if the strap has some elasticity, especially if you're stuck bad like in mud or something.

I might be able to join (if theres space, but I wont be for sure until Friday morning). If I am able, I have a winch, snatch block, few shackles, tow strap and snatch strap, shovel and pulaski

No lift or armor. If this place is going to require a lift, armor, etc......then I’m out.

I have a small lift, 2.5" or so, and only rock sliders, with the stock skid plate, and I'm going for White Mountain.
