Yeah, its not legal, but shops will do it. With 70% crystalline, you can barely tell that the windshield is tinted. It also helps that I didn't go super dark on the back ons so the residual effect of other darker windows shows through the windshield.

    Ticket protection, nice!

did 20% ceramic over the stock tint on the back windows, which equals 5%
i find it easier to see out of the ceramic tint

Went with carbon ceramic 20% on the fronts. It matches decently

Tint them all, although the rear is tinted glass, it doesn't block UV. I got darkest legal tint in Hawaii, which is 70% on the front windshield, 35% front driver/passenger and 5% on the rears. My truck never gets hot!

Got a good chance to take a comparison pic of my air 80 and a windshield with crystalline 70. It is a little bit darker than mine, and I think it's just right!

Very nice! Yeah, you can definitely tell there's a bit of a difference, especially from the side angle shot. Both look good though!

Incorrect sir. In Hawaii, 70% is the legal limit for the windshield.

i don't understand the need for tint film on windshield to block UV.. windshield by default already block most of the UV thanks to its sandwiched plastic layer?

Well for the increased heat rejection aspect also. The windshield is the biggest piece of glass on the truck, and will take a brunt of the sun exposure in most cases. But yeah, it does look cool lol.

Does anyone know the % that comes on the back windows for a Sport from the dealer? Dropping mine off on Friday so trying to get an idea before I go.

I hate the fact that NC includes tint testing as part of our annual inspections... #oppression.
