After much debate, I finally purchased a Tacoma. The finally decision was on Wrangler (midlife crises) or Tacoma. I didn't do much reading before purchasing the truck and had no idea the difference between a 6-Lug and 5-Lug. Well, until I decided to add a 3-4 inch lift with a goal to squeeze 35's under it.
I now know there are major differences and recently purchased a Fat Bob Garage lift (2.75 with shocks and long add a leaf). I know the controversy, but I intend on going with a 1" body lift as well. (If anyone lives in or around Tampa area and wants to help with the install, I'd be happy to hear from you)
I aim to put 31's under it and keep it mostly stock as a daily driver. I grew up drag racing and this is my first venture into the pickup world... should be interesting!
I'm always happy to hear others opinions and constructive criticism. Pictures will follow shortly.

Got a lot of stuff lol
Do you plan to go off road with it? When you do your lift don't forget the black box mod to allow bigger tires. Also I suggest a set of Bilstein 4600s for the front when you do the install. It is possible to fit 32s and 33s with minimal rubbing and trimming but it all depends on the rims you get. Back space 4 in , offset -13mm is the sweet spot for our trucks.

Welcome to tacomaworld and the rabbit hole of modding
