I asked 3 of their employees for help and got the old "We're on break"....So I got the electric lift, fired it up and got my 6 sheets of 3/4" AB plywood. I was ALMOST to the check out line when the store manager caught up with me. He went nuts and ran me out of the store without my plywood. We previously did around $40K in business with them a year. Haven't bought anything since.

 

I also was asked to Leave Lowes. 1500$ order when i remodled the kitchen. 3 pieces short on quarterround.the guy wrote on invoice owe 3 quarterround and initialed it. wife called and a smartass got really rude on phone. she hung up on him. said ill be back. long story short he acused me of writting on invoice to get free quarterround. manager came with same thing. they dont write on invoices and dont reconize initials. how could you if you dont write on them. anyway it got rowdy. manager gave me quarterround and said you got what you want. LEAVE! i said no i got what i PAYED for and ill leave when im damn well ready. and that damn guy followed me saying he would not have givin it to me. all i could do not to bust his ass over 12$ worth of molding

I am not fond of Lowes either...
They recently dropped a major paint supplier and switched brands.
It was only a few months and I had to buy additional paint to extend a project.
Of course the new brand could not match the paint codes of the former so I had to disguise the slight change in color.
Some guy in an office in Mooresville, NC made that decision to change paint brands and I wonder why.

What I do like about hardware stores like Lowes is they never tell me to take my dog Rafael out of the store as long as I have him on a leash.
Whenever I stop in an aisle to consider a purchase he plops down and its lights out... in the middle of the aisle... nap time

 

Done. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

 

Still waiting on my parts being delivered by Ontrac delivery !!!! . According to tracking info it was out for delivery at 0907hrs

The last (2) previous deliveries were at my place before 1100hrs
