im most likely just going to throw on a 2" topper and see how it does. $30 > $450

True. What’s your plan, just cut it to size and slip it inside the mattress cover?

plan to buy a 2" king and cut it to utilize the whole length of the pad on the mattress side that doesnt flip so i wont have to fight it. Then probably buy or throw on sheets to keep it under one cover.

I'm gonna give these other Amazon specials a try. One on each side of the tent. Front pics are deceiving but you can see in the diagram that they're 45 degree angled. They don't mention if they come with rubber gasket or not, but if they don't then I'll just make some real quick.

I think they dropped dealers after Thule bought them out. Only a matter of time before one shows up on here though. If they offer TW discounts from Thule, that is.

i have an exped mega mat. I uausally get to camp and set the matress up first, you can just open the inflate valve. By the time i get a fire going and food cooking i might have to use the hand pump for 3-5 mins to get it right where i want it. I have a old clamshell style tent so when i fold everything up i just open the deflate valve and fold it, no damage has happened to the mat. Granted I got my tent for cheap because it had no matress so i was willing to drop the little bit extra for comfort.

I have a few of these on my truck and haven't had any issues in any of the lovely shit seasons we have up in new england. They've been on for about 1.5 years now.. they're fully potted internals (took one apart to see if I could tint the lens) so there's no way for water to get in from the backside.

The bedding would be a problem. I have an Autana so there’s room to shove it all to the end (just a double sleeping bag and pillows) but on top it’s definitely going to hinder inflation.

He gave me 25% off? And like 8% off of Tepui accessories. (Don’t quote me on the percentages, but that’s close i bet) So I went up and bought a Ruggedized Autana, sheets, and boot bags

Now these might do great on my prinsu. 1 on each side. The other Amazon specials around my bed cage. Hmmm

I built a hard shell that’s about 84” long. Cantilever is sturdy enough, but I drop the tailgate and put in some post supports when setting up just for peace of mind

I ended up ordering the luxury mattress but from backcountry.com because they had 15% back on ebates plus free shipping. I’ll update how it compares to the stock CVT mattress as well as the fit once it comes in.

You've gotta to setup an account on ebates. Once you do that navigate to the backcountry website and make your purchase. Ebates will give you money back.
