I have been looking for a klx140l for the longest time now. Funny when a 12 year old bike is only 300-500 less than a 3 year old bike. Missed out on two deals. 07 for $1000 and a 2018 for $2500 with 50 miles.

Hey fellas, so since I last posted I went through a few bikes and recently bit the bullet on an '18 KTM 350 XCF.
Been trying to get back into racing this year as well with the CORCS offroad series here in CO. If you see me at a race or out riding come say hey! ktm1.jpg

    This counts, right?

Though I finally realized it was way better with the right tires (still 50/50 kendas).

I still need to regear the set of dirt wheels as it's garbage offroad, but my riding has dropped off significantly since I got my Tacoma.

Maybe we need to setup a wheel to ride trip.

Can anyone recommend some good dirt trails to check out that are within 1-2 hours from Denver/COS area. Doesn't have to be single track, can be scenic dirt forest service roads. I know about Rainbow Falls off 67, and have road around Gold Camp Road area. I need to try Phantom Canyon, havnt been down there. I'm a newbie on my XT225 so nothing too crazy.

    Snowy.

I rode some of the Rand singletrack (willow creek & snyder creek) on sunday. Lower trails are open, upper trails are snowed in.

I read the NCTR group cleared a bunch of the Griz this weekend, but creeks are impassable and will be for some time, and anything north facing still has snow.

Yeah, I would wait until next month. Especially if you want to try hitting the Griz.

If you're up this way, I would suggest checking out the North Routt single track too around Little Red Park (whiskey creek, farwell, WY trail). Those won't be open for another several weeks at best.

Pretty sure I burned more gas in the chainsaw than my bike today. Cleared 101 trees off the trail.

Probably looking to sell my low hour 2015 300 XC-W soon. Any recommendations for a shop to take it to for a look through and give a good bill of health before the sale? Centennial/Aurora/South Denver area preferred.

Fay Myers off Arapahoe and 25 will get you taken care of if that's the route you want to go. Though to be honest on a 2T the only thing that really takes any time to check if a bike is in good shape is the cylinder and head if you want to do it yourself.

Since it should be at the higher end of the dirt bike market, I'd like to have a shop go through it so I can reference that for potential buyers vs them having to rely just on my word. Although I've kept up with maintenance and checking whether things are in spec, I'm not the most experienced in this stuff.

    Thanks!

Shane is a good guy, but he's taking less and less work these days for his personal reasons. Just an fyi if you give him a call.

Otherwise full factory in roxborough does a sort of pre sale inspection.
