Sports come with only one option. Theres not like a ton of configs. On top of that, the dealer said Toyota is notorious for canceling your order. Ask around. Patience isn't the issue. It's Toyota.

Get a shell over the bed and a trailer for the bikes. If you go with the access cab you're going to want a double cab again in a year or two.

In Canada TRD off-road with MT [sarcasm]the only real TuRD gen Tacoma, because no Tacoma should come without a locker [/sarcasm]:crapstorm: is offered in ACLB configuration, so the choice was easy. :anonymous:

But on a serious note, in my case it was bed space > passenger space, I don't plan on family, pets or anything breathing and bitching any time soon, so choice was very easy. :D

I also owned 2005 DCLB and 2015 DCLB, rear seats were always empty.

That blazing blue is a non issue. They were all over the place. You prolly never had to build one. Dealers had them sitting all day, every day. You need to focus on my statement that there are like 6 calvary blue Sports MT AC in the entire country as we speak. Let that sink in. 6. 6 cars between 1500 dealerships. 1 car in every 8 states. 2 cars in every time zone. I guess I'm making my point.

Toyota is well aware of this and does nothing about it.

Actually there was NO (as in ZERO) 2017 AC BBP SR5 4x4 with no options except tow pkg anywhere around the middle of the country. So I am sorry to dispute you -- but a special order DID have to be put in. I really don't care about YOUR statement. My "statement" is: get what you want, even if you have to wait for it!

Keep your DCSB for your daily driver and try to find a good deal on a well used gen 2 AC or RC to haul your toys on the weekends.

You can buy a TRD Sport 4x4 with manual transmission in ACLB. At least in my region.

Ima hermit, only owned extended cabs since '89. And only need space for the dog and the lady. Any taco is barely a truck as it is, shortening the bed to 5' makes it an oversized, uncovered trunk on an admittedly decent looking sport ute. If you want both, get the dclb.

Yea you can build one and wait for it. As a matter of fact you cant....the build algorithm says "out of stock" when you choose the color blue. Now run a national search for one in blue...I'll wait.
