Right, and that’s what I was saying. I have one currently, and if it gets wrecked, my only choice is to search the entire US to MAYBE find another one.

Owned a 2002 AC until recently buying a 2019 AC. Wife also had a 2004 DCSB for a few years.

No regrets at all on either but for my needs the AC does well.

I'm thinking about getting a 19 AC, if I can find a great deal on one I like. Sucks it will have to be an automatic.

The question was not DCSB or Ranchero.

At least for the average person the non-power rear window is close enough to open from the front seat. It would be nice though.

Exactly. And, it is more roomy back there than you think.

Someday, I will get a pick with my teenage daughters back there.

    But suicide doors are cool.

Just a tip, I roll the cart to the front fender, open the front a bit, open the rear, close the front and load up. I'd done this many times in tight spaces.

With the window in reach in the AC, it's no big deal for me. That is my favor window and have it opened any time it isn't raining.

I find that the access cab has a useful 6 foot bed and wide opening doors that are great for storing things or just putting bags in. The only con I can think of is that if you got the rear jump seats, they are pretty useless since they will only fit small children or small adults with short legs. If its just you and one other person or a dog, its fine but if you carry passengers then prob not.

Huge fan of access cab! They stopped making them in 2019 in the TRD trims I heard.

Here is what you do - walk into your dealer of choice tell them exactly what you want, in the color you want. If they balk or give you crap - Head to the door. Or you can contact them via the internet. tell them -that's it or nothing. The only time this may not work is when they are too close to the model year changeover date. I had 2 dealers willing to fufill my wishes -one did for a darn good price and the other would have as well.
One more thing DO NOT BELIEVE THE "Build it yourself site" This website is edited as to what part of the country you say you are in. This place is designed to steer you into picking what YOUR part of the country has on hand and what has been shipped to your part of the country. IF you don't believe me -try changing (drastically) what zip code you are in -- the results will change accordingly.
